choreograph the wind?

“Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God:” (Acts 3:1-9, KJV)

Another day at the ninth hour (1500h) on the way to pray we find a man, and what he’s doing and where he is seem to be a daily occurrence which had taken place since the man was a child; little did he realize that this would be the greatest day of his life. At  the gate of the Temple which is called Beautiful, which Josephus wrote it was made of costly Corinthian brass; it was said to be about 62 feet wide and 31 feet high: Here we find a beggar, a crippled man seeking help.
Just as Peter and John were about to go into the Temple, he asked an alms, requested help. The Holy Spirit wasted no time and prompted Peter to tell the man to “look on us”, which means listen with your heart, rather than looking with the eyes. Surely he did look, maybe raised his hand to receive monetary support but something very different was mere seconds away!

The beggar was told “Silver and gold have I none”, thinking on this makes me wonder how this statement as given by Peter concerning silver and gold relates to the modern greed message?
The Peter says: “but such as I have give I thee”, the modern church of 2026 has more silver and gold than it does the true power of Christ. Singing, preaching, teaching, yet dead. Peter further says “In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk”, not in the name of Mohammed, or Confucius, Allah, Smith, Prankard, TBN, etc.).

Then as faith took action, he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. Verse 8 says it best “And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the Temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.”
Services are as dry as dust in a powder barrel:

Why! Too stiff, Too rigid, Too formed by schedules to let the Holy Spirit move as He desires.
True wealth is spiritual, not material,Peter’s lack of money wasn’t weakness but freedom, as he had what money couldn’t buy: the presence and authority of Christ.

Faith requires both word and action therefore Peter didn’t just speak healing; he reached out and lifted the man up. Genuine ministry moves beyond talk to compassionate engagement. The result of true encounter is praise. Churches in 2026 are so structured, scheduled, and image-conscious that they leave little space for the spontaneous movement of the Holy Spirit.

They are trying to choreograph wind rather than plan a miracle.
