Most of the time, life does not look like what we prayed for. Things fall apart, people leave, doors close, and delays feel like they last forever. And somewhere in the silence you find yourself asking, God, do You even see this?
Because from where I am standing, this does not look like purpose, this looks like everything going wrong. But the Bible is full of moments that looked like endings until God revealed they were only beginnings.
Joseph in a prison cell after doing what was right, David hiding in caves while a king hunted his life, Lazarus in a grave four days gone, and even the cross looked like defeat before the stone was rolled away.
See, God does not panic in the places that make us panic. What feels impossible to us is still under His authority. We are quick to judge a chapter and call it a conclusion, but God does His best work in what looks beyond repair.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28, KJV)
Not some things, all things. The confusion, the betrayal, the waiting, the wilderness, even the prayers that feel like they are hitting the ceiling.
The enemy wants you to believe that a bad chapter means a bad ending, but God has never lost control, not once. Sometimes the battle is not evidence that God left you, sometimes it is evidence that there is purpose on your life. The pressure is not always punishment, sometimes it is preparation. He is building your faith, your endurance, your dependence on Him, because what is coming requires a stronger version of you. Getting up again, that is a victory. Still praying, that is a victory. Not giving up, that is a victory.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” (Isaiah 41:10, KJV)
So no, you are not abandoned, you are not forgotten, and what you are facing is not bigger than God. The same God who parted seas, shut lions mouths, raised the dead, and broke chains, He is still moving, right here, right now. This is not the end of your story.
So keep trusting, keep praying, keep walking, because God is not finished yet.
