Life, cooking and outcome

What is a batter who cannot swing? What is a ball never thrown, never hit or swung at? What is a goalie without the puck, or players without ice beneath their skates? Without the posts, how does the placekicker find three points?

Life is made of pieces, each one needed to make the whole.

Like baking, and cooking:
Eggs are cracked and beaten, flour sifted soft through air, seeds crushed into oil. The mixture stirs, whips, blends, and bends transformed by motion, by pressure, by time.
From many pieces come creation, all forged in fire or great heat.Cake, bread, dough rising warm, pies etc, simple parts, made something more.

Life is not easy. It asks us to break, to change, to endure; yet handled with care, with patience in the process, the ending can be sweet.
