Sorcery and Fasting

“And he said to them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.” (Mark 9:29, Webster)

First off, let me say this so everyone knows where I stand: There is no such thing other than foolishness about a ‘Daniel Fast’ or ‘miracle fasting’ or ‘fasting your way to healing’, or etc. These are  damnable lies!
Fasting falsely is witchcraft, just the same as any of the rest of it.

There’s no healing or salvation in communion, or water baptism, etc.,,,, ask Dismas, the penitent thief.
Yet real “fasting” includes not only, doing without food, but as well, denying one’s own strength and ability, and looking exclusively to Christ.

The disciples had cast out demons before, yet in here, they suddenly met a case they could not handle. A desperate father stood before them, a tormented child convulsing at the feet of men who had no power left. Then Jesus came, rebuked the unclean spirit, and the boy was completely healed.
Later, in private, the disciples asked the question every honest believer eventually asks: “Why could we not cast him out?” Jesus’ answer cuts through all excuses: “This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.”
Some strongholds are so entrenched that they expose whether we are truly leaning on Christ or just coasting on past experiences. Prayer and fasting do not earn power; they strip us of the illusion of our own strength and bring us back to utter dependence on the Lord, and in that dependence, authority is restored.

I do not fear my next statement but I have friends who are literally witches!  We are not as close as we used to be, and yet my truth still proves they treated me better than Christian’s have,,, they were there emotionally, physically, verbally, and not just by text or email or social media
They were there when life got abusive and I was in hard situations…. They didn’t leave me… Yet they had no power other than love to help me…. None the less they are green witches, kitchen witches, and one was a blood witch….
No judgment, no condemnation, no hypocrisy, no gossip, no pretenses or falsehoods like you find in many churches……. Just love and kindness humanly… Yet dead without God.
I’ve witnessed, they know the truth! I had to back away, and yes it hurt to do so in my person because they had truly been there for me….. But God is more important and heaven gained is good!

In our day, the works of darkness still operate, sometimes openly in sorcery, witchcraft, and occult practices, and sometimes quietly through “harmless” entertainment, superstition, and curiosity about forbidden spiritual things.
Scripture doesn’t treat these as games. It forbids divination, sorcery, consulting spirits, and every attempt to tap supernatural power apart from the living God.

When God’s people flirt with what He calls an abomination, we should not be surprised if our spiritual power fades and our discernment dulls.Yet there is hope. In Acts, those who had practiced magic brought their books and burned them publicly, choosing the costly road of full repentance and freedom in Christ.

The same Jesus who rebuked the spirit in that boy still delivers today. He calls us to close every door to the occult, to plead His blood over our households, and to return to a life of prayer, fasting, and simple faith in His name.
My daily prayer is not vain repetition, it’s true, honest, faithful and needed:
Lord Jesus, I confess that in many ways I have relied on myself more than on You. If I have opened any door through what I watch, read, or entertain in my heart to things Your Word calls an abomination, show me and give me grace to shut it completely.
