I hate worms

One worm gets in an apple, not long after the worm dies and never gets to eat the entire apple
however if that apple gets tossed into a barrel with other apples the whole lot will be spoiled all the loss because of one worm
the Bible says gossip is murder character assassination so gossip is wrong and people who gossip are nothing more than a worm in an apple

The Bible treats gossip as deeply destructive sin that can poison a whole community while also destroying the one who spreads it. Spiritually and relationally, a single gossiper in a family, church, or workplace can spread suspicion, bitterness, and division far beyond the original story.
Scripture repeatedly condemns gossip, slander, and whispering as sins that destroy others’ reputations and relationships, in fact, Romans 1:29–32 lists “gossips” alongside murderers and other serious sins, showing that God places gossip in the same moral category of death causing behavior.
Just as the worm eventually dies and never enjoys the apple it ruins;  habitual gossip ultimately damages the gossiper’s own soul, credibility, and relationships.
Proverbs warns that a fool’s mouth is his ruin and that one who reveals secrets should be avoided, because their own speech becomes a snare and brings judgment.
